Review: Cheesy and tacky the holiday resort of Albufeira was fab in December - I would imagine it's a nightmare in the height of summer.
If you want Blackpool in the sun head for the strip, otherwise avoid Albufeira altogether and go somewhere like Alvor further West.
Weather was quite pleasant - the Atlantic FAR too cold for going in further that the ankles though!
There are far too many timeshare sellers - avoid the cheeky gits who offer you a scratchcard at all costs - they will pretend to be soooooo suprised when you win one of the gold prizes - "they are very rare" - MY @ss!!! |
