  • How do I find my way round HolidayReviewStop?

    1.HolidayReviewStop Search
    If you are looking for a particular Holiday Accommodation, Resort or City, use the search box at the top right of each page to search for the information you are looking for. The search displays any holiday accommodations, resorts or cities that match your search.
    2.HolidayReviewStop Navigation
    Use the country tabs at the top of the page to select the appropriate country you are interested in. Some sections also have 'regions' which are listed on the bar below the tabs. Once you have selected the country you are interested in, the regions or resorts in that country are displayed in the centre of the page. Selecting a resort or city displays reviews of that resort or city, together with a list of accommodations in that resort or city. Clicking on an accommodation displays the reviews for that accommodation.

  • How can I add a review of a Holiday Accommodation already on HolidayReviewStop?
    Adding a review is easy and straightforward at HolidayReviewStop. Just follow these steps:

    1.Go to the page featuring the Holiday Accommodation you wish to review and then click the 'add review' button to add your review.

    2.Complete the review form.

    3.Log in or register your details if this is the first time you have used HolidayReviewStop.

    4.Submit your Review.
    Once you have filled in your review, click the 'submit review' button. You will then be able to preview your review to make sure you are happy with it. At this stage you can make any alterations or amendments you may feel are necessary by returning to the previous page using the 'Edit Review' button.

    5 .Confirm your review.
    Once you are happy with your review, click the 'Confirm Review' button to send the review to HolidayReviewStop. Your review will then be checked by us to ensure it meets our guidelines and then added to HolidayReviewStop. Please note that we check every review so this process can take longer at busy times.

    Please check spellings and do not use all UPPERCASE letters.
    Do not use offensive / obscene language.
    Do not criticise other reviewers or their reviews.
    Do not cause offence to other users such as politics, sex, pornography and religion

  • How do I write a review of an Accommodation not already listed on HolidayReviewStop?

    1.Select the country from the tabs at the top of the page (the 'more' tab lists countries without their own tab). If the country isn't listed, please use the contact form to let us know and we will be happy to add the country to the site.

    2.Select the region, resort or city from the list that appears in the centre of the page. If the region, city or resort doesn't exist, create a new region, resort or city by clicking the 'add region' or 'add resort' button. (Tip: try using the search box to find the region or resort and add your review to the most appropriate region or resort)

    3.Click on the 'Create New Accommodation' button to open the Review Form (this is located at the bottom of the list of items).

    4 .Complete the review form.

    5.Submit the Review Form.
    Once you have filled in your review, click the 'submit review' button. You will then be able to preview your review to make sure you are happy with it.   • What happens when I comment on a review?
    'Adding a comment' is a great way to ask a reviewer for further information or show your appreciation for the review itself. When you add a comment an email is automatically sent to the reviewer (and any other people who have added comments) telling them you have commented. The user can then visit the review and check your comment (please note that the email can only be sent to those users who have left their email address and it is the users choice whether or not to respond)..

  • How do I add a comment to a review?
    1.Click on the 'comment on this review' button under the review/comments you want to comment on.

    2.Complete the comment form.

    3.Submit the Comment Form.
    Once you have filled in your review, click the 'submit review' button. You will then be able to see your review as it will appear on HolidayReviewStop. You can also return to the previous page and edit the review at this stage if you want.

    4.Confirm your Comment.
    Once you are happy that your comment is correct, click the 'Confirm Comment' button to send it to HolidayReviewStop. Your comment will then be checked by us and added to HolidayReviewStop. Please note that every comment is individually checked so this process can take longer at busy times.

  • How Do I Change or Remove My Review or Comment?
    If you change your mind about the Holiday Accommodation, Resort or City you have reviewed, you can change your review or comment. Use the contact button to send details of the change/deletion you want to make. Please remember to quote the URL of the review you want to change and use the email address you use with your HolidayReviewStop account. Please note that HolidayReviewStop reserves the right not to change/delete reviews or comments where this information is not supplied.

  • What is an expert review and how can my review achieve this?
    When a review is submitted that we feel will be especially useful to our other users, it is awarded 'expert' status.

    We can't guarantee to award every review expert status but asking yourself: 'what would I like to have known before I went on this holiday'? and answering this in your review is one way of improving the chance of being awarded expert status.

    Things such as 'Must Do' excursions, recommendations on which restaurants to use (or avoid) and other useful information that will give people 'The Inside Track' and help them to get the most from their holiday are all ways of helping improve the likelihood that your review will be awarded 'expert' status.

  • What do you do with my email address?

    Your email address will be used to send you an automated email when comments are added to your review, comment and/or posts.
    The email address will not be used to contact you for any other purpose unless you opt in to receiving some other form of contact.

    When we receive your review we check for spelling errors and may make some minor alterations to ensure the review appears correctly on HolidayReviewStop. As far as possible, we try to publish reviews with minimum alterations.
