Review: The small beach at the Litera Gumbet Beach Resort isn?t the best but there are great facilites including free loungers/parasols and also big shaded dens to shelter from the midday sun. The water is very clear ? take your goggles and you will see plenty of fish. So clear that one of the local regularly catches small octopus (by hand). Also watersports hire available. I defiantly recomond booking a boat trip on a traditional Gullet from the beach - ?12 per adult for a full day including a good meal. Makes around 5 stops including :- cave swimming/mud bath, high cliff jumping into a sea crater (this was a huge buzz and one of the highlights of my holiday), camel beach and the beutifull secluded aquarium bay.
You can get a free minibus to the beach but its probably quicker to take on the steps ? due to facilities on beach you wont need to go back to your room/shops ect. |
