Review: Monte Gordo is very much a purpose built resort with little character. It does have a wonderful beach and good selection of restaurants. a few low key bars. The resort is very flat and you can walk to the Spanish border that is only 3 miles away. It tends to attract couples over the age of 40 who want a tranquil holiday without music bars. If you fall into this category Monte Gordo is thoroughly recommended but in our opinion no good for families of young singles. A good Casino with a nightly show. |
