Review: Sharm el sheikh has proven to be very popular with tourists and as such has a large cluster of hotels and apartments. There are the usual beach activities: snorkeling, pedal boats, parasailing and banana boats.
Most visitors tend to base themselves at Sharm, as it is a good place to relax after a hard day exploring the pyramids or the Sinai desert!
The shopping is very good especially for spices, parchment scrolls etc..
A visit to the pyramids are a must! you can fly at a cost of around £120 but we chose to go by coach for £40 each. We travelled overnight through the Sinai and it was one of the most memorable experiences i have ever had. |
